Applying for Alien Registration Certificate

You must apply for an alien registration certificate at a local immigration office within 90 days from the date of entry to Korea.
The required documents are as follows.

① Passport
② One passport photo(3.5cm X 4.5cm)
③ Certificate of enrollment
④ Alien registration certificate application form
⑤ Bank balance
⑥ Certificate of residence or lease agreement
⑦ Application fee (30,000KRW)

Visa Extension

Before the expiration date of your stay on your alien registration card, you must submit the following documents to the Immigration Office in your jurisdiction.
The required documents are as follows.

① Passport and Alien registration certificate
② Application for extension of stay
③ Certificate of tuition payment
④ Certificate of enrollment (with attendance marked)
⑤ Residence certificate or lease agreement
⑥ Application Fee (60,000KRW)

Reporting change of address (place of residence)

International residents must report changes in their address within 14 days of change at one of the following three places: Hi Korea, resident's district office or Goyang Immigration Office.
(※If you use the English version of Hi Korea, no authenticated certificate will be required.)
